This week each day I will like to feature one of our 4 talented artists. If you have not come to the SLEA Sky Galleries yet or in a while, we invite you to come enjoy some of Second Life’s favorite artists and learn about them, and what they have been doing to broaden the interests in the arts throughout all of Second Life.
Today SLEA SKY Galleries presents:
Artist CARELYNA
” IN THE CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE “
Her description of the artist style used in this exhibit is:
“artistic photography mostly inspired by the impressionist art style“
Carelyna has been in SL since 2012 and she started to curate her own art gallery in 2014. She had many individual and collective exhibitions in different other art galleries. At the present time , she has a permanent exhibition at Akiniwa, two exhibitions at IMAGO Art Gallery and a small permanent exhibition at THE FREE MUSEUM.
She took art classes and learned to paint on an easel with oil paints. This is the reason why she tries to make her photos look like paintings.
Each photograph is a new fresh canvas for her. She just replaced the traditional tools with the computer. Her real life followed a different path but she held fast to her imaginary and artistic sensibilities. What she creates is more a therapy for her soul, a playful way to express herself.
